Aziz Shavershian was born on March 24, 1989. He is better known as Zyzz in the social media. Aziz Sharveshian was born in Russia. He was a model, body builder, internet superstar and a personal trainer. After posting numerous videos on YouTube of himself, he set up a cult in 2007. In July 2011, he gained more popularity with the media after publishment of an article about the arrest of his elder brother, Said, who was illegally caught in control of anabolic steroids. Aziz Sharveshian suffered a heart attack on August 5, 2011, while holidaying in Thailand and passed away at the tender age of 22.

Shavershian was the younger lad of Sergei Shavershian and Maiane Iboian, who was a cardiologist. Said Shavershian was the eldest brother of Aziz whose screen name is “Chestbrah”. Shavershian and the rest of his family members relocated to Australia in the early 1990s. He was brought up in New South Wales and joined Marist College where he attained dux of the college. Shavershian was an atheist and was set to be an alumni from Western Sydney with a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business before meeting his death in August 2011.


Once he was through with secondary school, Shavershian was inspired by his older brother who was a bodybuilder to become a bodybuilder. Before that, people had been describing him as a “skinny kid’. He enrolled in a local gym and started working out and learning about nutrition. With the knowledge that he gained, he used in his quest of being a bodybuilder. He would train daily in the gym 3-4hours. His much-loved expert bodybuilders include Frank Zane and Arnold Schwarzenegger. In one of his bodybuilding interviews, Shavershian stated that his original aim of becoming a bodybuilder was so that he could impress girls. After four years of training, he brushed off his idea of impressing people and concentrated more on achieving his goals and giving his best in the gym.

Before his death, Shavershian was a poster boy of amateur bodybuilding in Australia, which was made famous for his Zyzz workout. He set up Protein of the Gods which was his own label. He had a clothing line of shorts which was called Zyzz shorts and later released Zyzzs Bodybuilding Bible on May 17, 2011, based on the knowledge he had gained during his four years training in the gym. He stated that through the use of social media the internet aided in setting up of his brand.

After Shavershians death, his elder brother Said pleaded guilty. Said had been detained for possession of anabolic steroids on July 14, 2011. After the arrest of his brother one of the Newspapers covering the case included a picture of Shavershian. He opposed the use of his photo in the article which was to illustrate on the abuse of the steroids. Shavershian refused ever using steroids when he was asked by the Daily Telegraph. He stated that his body shape was due to the observing of a strict diet and working hard in the gym. According to a source the firm that had employed Sharveshian as a male stripper stated that he was a charming guy to work with apart from the steroids case.

Shavershian had a heart attack in a sauna while holidaying in Pitaya on August 5, 2011. He was rushed to the hospital, but the practitioners were unable to bring him around. News of his demise was placed on Facebook by his friends and family. The Department of Trade and Foreign Affairs confirmed his death on August 9, 2011. After an autopsy had been carried, it showed an undiagnosed heart problem. His family claimed that in the few months before August he had shown some minor signs of running out of breath and high blood pressure. His family had a history of heart diseases.

Shavershian’s demise was the sixth utmost searched death related subject in Australia. Before his death, Shavershian had uploaded a clip of himself on a social networking site, which later emerged 18th on the Top News 2011 cartridges of the year. Between May 2011-May 2012 Google statistics showed that he was the most searched as the Australian Prime Minister of that time and Julia Gillard. In a tribute to him, people dressed up as Shavershian in the 2011 New Year’s festival in Sydney. Said, Shavershian elder brother composed a nineteen-minute video clip for his brother called Zyzz-The Legacy. It was released on YouTube on March 22, 2012.
